A small studio that ships, and watches the ground move.
Kymata Labs is a technology studio and research lab. We design and ship small AI products, maintain the Living Indexes that map the AI-builder ecosystem, and publish field research on the second-order effects most roadmaps ignore.
What we do
§ 01 — The practiceWe build AI products, and map the ecosystem they live in.
Most of what we make is small and shipped: AI agents, websites, and tools that solve a single problem well. Around that, we run the Living Indexes, seventeen self-updating maps recomputed daily from live signals, so the studio is always pointed at what is actually moving.
The research is the third leg. We write long-form field notes on memory, governance, labor, provenance, and compute: the structural shifts that change what it means to build on top of AI.
How we work
§ 02 — Built by agents,verified by humans
Kymata Labs runs on an agent operating system. Products are scoped by a human, built and tested by a fleet of AI agents, reviewed adversarially, and shipped continuously. The indexes recompute themselves overnight; the research is drafted in the open and edited hard.
The point is not automation for its own sake. It is leverage: a studio of one operator moving at the cadence of a team, with the discipline to verify everything before it goes out the door.
